The original meter tested was found to give erratic results due largely to the formation of a vapor pocket at the stationary cone. The meter was redesigned by the Pottermeter Company and the results of tests of the revised meter showed improvement in performance characteristics. Tests for head loss and pressure distribution through the meter were also made and are reported herein.reportsengCopyright and other restrictions may apply.
