Mammoth Hot Springs
While change is evident in geothermal features throughout Yellowstone, one of the most rapidly and dramatically changing sites in the park is at Mammoth Hot Springs. Visitors to the springs never see the same scenery twice. Even if you are an infrequent visitor, you may notice that the springs seem different each trip.
