This project sought to develop an accessory pack for use by anglers. The design specifications outline a number of useful features. The heated guides, the highlight of the project, proved the most difficult to implement. The other features, temperature, fish length, and fish weight measurement, as well as the display of these measurements, were fully realized on a breadboard. The transition to a printed circuit board (PCB) proved extraordinarily troublesome, with the PCB never reaching the level of function of the breadboard prototype.
