Second interim report on the Core Scanning Program

Abstract
The core scanning program was initiated in February 1952. The first phase of the program, which included the examination of about 123,000 feet of core at six libraries, was completed in September 1952. An interim report describing this phase of the scanning program was submitted to the Atomic Energy Commission at an earlier date. This report covers the second phase of the core-scanning program, December 1952 to June 1954, and describes the examination of core from three libraries. Locations of the libraries are: Mt.
