    Abstract
Field work in White Canyon, discussed in the following report, was initiated to determine reserves of uranium ores and to determine the nature of the physical, geological, and economic conditions affecting mining and milling of such ores. The White Canyon district is 60 miles west of Blanding in southeastern Utah. The majority of the prospects examined are adjacent to White Canyon and its tributary canyons, a drainage system that joins the Colorado River ate Dandy Crossing.
