Simulating unconventional gas flow in stimulated fractured shale reservoirs
The objective of this project is to study a new technique to simulate gas flow within an explicitly modeled stimulated reservoir volume (SRV) complex fracture network in a shale reservoir where the hydraulic and natural fractures have widths in the magnitude of a couple millimeters with very high intrinsic permeabilities.
