Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterized by the propensity to develop spontaneous epileptic seizures. While epilepsy has been associated with differential patterns of brain gene expression, the specific transcriptomic effects of the number of seizures experienced during early epileptogenesis, early epileptogenesis seizure burden (EESB), are undefined.
