Venezuelan International Meteorological and Hydrological Experiment (VIMHEX)
Overview of Everett Richardson, Herb Riehl, Daryl Simons and Michael Stevens' trips to Anaco and El Sombro, Venezuela, between 1968 and 1970 as part of a U.S. Naval Research contract awarded to CSU's Atmospheric Science and Civil Engineering departments. Richardson was Engineer in Charge of field data gathering program. An explanation of a failed attempt to establish a program in Brazil and a list of resulting publications are also included in the document as is a note that Richardson missed television coverage of the first moon landing in 1968 because of a delayed flight.
