One of the oldest college newspapers in the West, the Rocky Mountain Collegian launched as a monthly in December 1891 written for students of Colorado Agricultural College (now Colorado State University). The publication has undergone several name changes during its history: Rocky Mountain Collegian (1891-1976), Fort Collins Daily Journal (1976), Fort Collins Journal (1976-1978), The Collegian (1980-1982), Rocky Mountain Collegian (1982-present). Volume numbering is occasionally irregular. This digital collection contains the first 69 volumes of the Collegian, dated December 1891 to October 1960, and issues and supplemental issues from 2006 to present, with some missing.

Digital copies of the December 1, 1891-October 25, 1960 issues are also available from the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection.
