    Abstract
Frank Eckhardt, Jr., and Gary Herman, both farmers and board members of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District, jointly discuss their backgrounds and experiences in relation to groundwater. They describe the impact of the Empire Lodge case and bringing wells into compliance with the State Engineer's rulings. They also talk about augmentation plans, thoughts on improvements for water efficiency, and their service on the board.
