Letters and reports from Charles A. Lory, state and federal agencies, companies, and individuals. C. G. Sargent wrote many letters to Lory over the year, concerning his manuscript on the consolidation of Colorado rural and village schools. Sargent sent the manuscript's table of contents to Lory. In April, Lory wrote of having read the manuscript and provided Sargent with some of his family history: moving to Loveland in 1888, teaching in one room school houses, farming in Johnstown, homesteading just south of Windsor, and attending the State Normal School.
