James Hansen interviews Lois Hopkirk Henry in 1975 for Hansen's Democracy's College in the Centennial State: A History of Colorado State University (1977). Henry began working in the Rural and Vocational Education Department in 1930 and continued as an administrative secretary in various departments. During World War II, Henry recruited and trained teachers for the clerical school. Henry recounts the faculty, classes she attended during her time at the school, and her career after graduation. She also discusses her association with Emily Griffith.The recording begins with unrelated speaking for 22 seconds. The interview is the concluding section and ends at 20 minutes, 44 seconds.
