This digital collection contains publications dated 1917 to 2009 which are related to collections in the Agricultural and Natural Resources Archive. Most of the collection's publications were digitized as part of a 2018 CERES grant and are part of catalogued agricultural Special Collections rather than archival collections. Publications include issues of Western Livestock Journal, The Sugar Press, Through the Leaves (1917-1970) and Upbeet (1971-1977). Other publications include two "My Day at the National Western Stock Show" activity books from 2008 and 2009, a 1948 "Book of Results" from the National Western Stock Show, and a 2009 article, “Evaluating Tree Fruit Bud & Fruit Damage from Cold.”

The weekly publication of the Western Livestock Journal is a leading source for the nation’s beef industry news. It provides livestock news, livestock market reports, research on animal health topics, information on management techniques and strategies, findings on forage and range management, and seedstock market reports. From 1922 to 1930, it was published as the Farm and Ranch Market Journal. This digital collection includes selected issues from 1922 to 1953 and from 2002 to 2013. Great Western Sugar Company published its employee newsletter, The Sugar Press, from 1917 to 1981. Early issues were published quarterly; later issues were published monthly and bi-monthly. This digital collection consists of an incomplete run of the publication, beginning with volume 28 in 1944 and ending with the October 1981 Special Contest Issue. Through the Leaves and Upbeet were newsletter publications through which the Great Western Sugar Company passed on insights gained by company researchers concerning increased yields, pest control methods, and innovative equipment to growers. Some issues of Through the Leaves and Upbeet missing in this collection are part of archival collections and can be found in the Records of the Great Western Sugar Company.
