GB-130, Peach tree in Mr. Sulton's orchard which has lost one limb with gummosis
Western slope fruit investigations. October 5, 1906. Peach tree in Mr. Sulton's orchard which has lost one limb with gummosis. Remainder of tree saved by Mr. Sulton following my suggestion to split the bark. One dead limb to far gone when splitting was done but the rest of the tree in good health now. From previous experience, Mr. Sulton says he is sure the whole tree would have died if left as it was. O. B. W. photograph.
