Abstract
Still, the West is a collection of poems organized in two sections. The first section centers around the history of barbed wire, mending fences, and a familiarity with the place of Northwest Colorado. The second section deals with displacement, centering around poems exploring Eastern Colorado plains towns, and prairie landscapes. As a whole, the collection examines the place of the American West in work, landscape, and place.
