Darrell Viegut: his experiences in the Korean War, as told in his own words
On April 3, 2012 Darrell Viegut sat down at his home in Loveland, CO and told of his experiences in the Korean War. Darrell, born and raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, served in the Air Force. He was a gunner aboard a B-26 with the 13th Bomb Squadron, stationed at base K8 near Kunsan. After his service was up, he would work a number of jobs and then go on to a long career with this own locksmith business. Darrell and his lovely wife Bernice have been married for 57 years and have three children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
