On October 9, 2012 Walter "Wally" Sternenberger sat down and told of his experiences in World War II. Wally, born and raised in Denver, CO, served with the U.S. Army. He was a radioman with Co. B, 410th Infantry Regiment of the 103rd Infantry Division. He tells of starting in S. France and fighting across France and Germany and ending up in Austria at the war's end. Along the way he was awarded the Bronze Star for his efforts in repelling a German attack.
