Martin Lubow: his experiences in World War II, as told in his own words
On November 14, 2009 Martin Lubow sat down at his home in Fort Collins, CO and told of his experiences in World War II. Martin, born in Pittsburgh, PA, was in college at the outbreak of war and enlisted in the Army Air Corps. While in training, there was a notice seeking volunteers for an unnamed and 'dangerous' assignment and Martin volunteered. After a vetting process, he was selected into the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). The OSS was the forerunner of today's Central Intelligence Agency.
