I’ll be completely honest with you, I hate artist statements. Perhaps that is because I have never considered myself sufficiently eloquent enough to describe my art with words, and prefer to let it speak for itself. But even more than that, I believe art is deeply personal. It is personal for both for the artist and the viewer, and it cannot elicit the exact same response from any two individuals.
