Abstract
One of two diaries of Carpenter's professional activities as a lawyer in 1926. The Diary is dictated with occasional written entries by Carpenter, but transcriber is not identified. Carpenter travels a lot between Greeley and Denver, makes frequent visits to Crow Creek Ranch--his shorthorn cattle ranch northeast of Greeley, and works on Greeley-Poudre Irrigation District legal matters. Interstate commission work for several rivers appear, especially for the Platte, Colorado, and Rio Grande, and Carpenter makes heavy use of the Union Pacific Railroad system to get to meetings all over the U.S. ...
